Rihanna Daily heard from a trustable source that Rude Boy is the next Rated R worldwide single. Hard isn’t going to be released in any other country besides the US – probably.
The Rude Boy music video is said to be shot in less than a week. More info coming soon.
But Hard was also "released" in Canada
(Whatever released is supposed to mean for Canada...Canadians seem to pick singles for themselves ala Paparazzi or Telephone when it leaked)
Erm Hard is already #40 on iTunes in the UK. And that's with zero radioplay, just tv spins for the music video. The label are fools for not releasing Hard. Also, Hard has done ok in Canada (top 20).

I agree, Hard would have done really well here. The UK market is more urban than ever before now, so I don't get why they thought Hard would not be suitable
It's adds date is Feb. 9 by the way for the U.S. Way too early if you ask me. It's either going to hurt "Hard," which is still going strong, or it's going to hurt "Rude Boy," which in turn might hurt it from taking off at all. I love the song, and I think it's a great single choice, just a way too early release for the U.S.

That's what I was going to say. "Hard" is my fave song on the album and the Video has been charting high on all the Music Channels. I think it would do well.
