"A Thousand Years" is the most recurrently purchased song
I've always noticed that "A Thousand Years" has floated in the 150-200 range on iTunes years after its peak. To this day, it's sitting pretty at position 150, charting higher than huge hits that came out this year (Bad Blood, Hey Mama, Love Me Like You Do)
Even though there have been much bigger hits, why do you think this is the most successful recurrently bought song of this decade?? Why does it have such amazing longevity?
It's relatable I guess. And it's used in a lot of tv shows all around the world. I think the song is also picked a lot by contestants in talent show! Ah...also 'cause it's amazing and moving and fantastic!
An amazing song, and I too agree that it's used a lot for marriages, my friend got married last year and it was one of her songs she used. Also, it's been used on The Voice a few times in auditions so that helps bump up sales too
