Something got me thinking. Since U Been Gone and Get The Party Started excepted, you rarely if ever see Ms. Clarkson or Ms ... Nash? (It's Nash, isn't it? Bridges. Alicia Bridges, right? What is her last name?_=+) pop up in year end lists, or get any serious coverage in respected publications (and I DON'T mean Rolling Stone or Entertainment Damn Weekly).

The other POP stars do. They don'T. What gives?

I have my own opinions, but I'd love to hear yours.

Pink makes pop classics though, to be honest I don't think any (caucasian) female artist in pop music has a catalogue as tough as Pinks. Afterall, Pink was Billboards top pop artist of the 00's. She just isn't popular in the cultural sense of the word, but we will always know she is there.











I've never heard of this Kelly.

Pink's recent stuff sounds like her old stuff.... same blueprint. Kelly is just not relevant enough, I guess. Your stuff needs to either be innovative or outstanding to make these lists.

I actually didn't know P!nk had a diamond album until two weeks ago. Her catalogue is impressive.

Pink never has crossed into major stardom even though she sells stable with most of her releases.

I think P!nk is very respected, artists and publications (when they do speak of her) have nothing but positive things to say. Her performance of Glitter In The Air was the most talked about after the Grammys, and the most acclaimed.

Just because her profile isn't exactly huge, you'll rarely ever hear a bad word about her.
