@gay people/ATRL population Do you think that it's difficult to find a committed relationship when the pressure to just hook up and not look for anything serious is so high? At least imo. The straight world does a lot of hooking up too, but it seems like with gays it really is just very focused on the sexual aspect more than the relationship aspect of it.
if you want to find a gay guy to make a legitimate relationship with, you're going to have way more luck being his friend first. there are plenty of guys looking for a serious relationship, but they're not going to be on grindr or in clubs.
It is sad but I'm glad I didn't have to go through it and just happened to be lucky and met people through friends/parties and got to develop things organically and emotionally before going straight to sexually.

The last few guys I've talked to have all been talking to/hooking up with other guys at the same time. It's so frustrating. I wish I could be like that but I can't handle it I fall in love too fast
There's a reason for that though. Homosexuals are normally in the closet for 15-20+ years before they come out as gay. So when they finally do come out they have their teenage "lets have sex/ lets **** everything in sight" moment in their 20's. They don't know how to date because they never could in the closet.
It's basically sexual frustration and social awkwardness turned up to 11.
