Okay, I'm tired of everyone bitching so, I have a solution to this! If you all have your top 20s already decided, please PM them to me by DECEMBER 22ND. If you have not decided them yet, I will not accept any new top 20s for the Top 50 AFTER DECEMBER 31ST.
Inspired by the now defunct Stylus Magazine's year-end lists, every year we have a Top 50 Singles of the Year list. The list is comprised of every user's individual top twenty songs; for example, Mike's (He Said She Said) number one would be worth twenty points, his number twenty would be worth one point, and everything in between would be worth two - nineteen points.
For examples of how this all turns out, here are the 2005 and 2006 top fives, as chosen by you all:
2005
1. Mariah Carey - We Belong Together
2. Kelly Clarkson - Behind These Hazel Eyes
3. My Chemical Romance - Helena
4. Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone
5. Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl
2006
1. Nelly Furtado featuring Timbaland - Promiscuous
2. Beyonce - Irreplaceable
3. Justin Timberlake featuring Timbaland - Sexyback
4. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
5. The Pussycat Dolls - Buttons
This may be a few positions off from my actual list, but I've projected my charts to the end of the year and determined what it'll look like by the end of the year by current trends.
