It looks as though Billboard could have been wrong about Rumor Has It being the next single.

My station just played Set Fire to the Rain last night and announced it as her next single.

More importantly, it's already gotten 3 adds so far this week on HOT AC with more than half the stations still to report.
I think that a few stations jumped the gun adding Rumor Has It due to the billboard article, but Rumor Has It only has one add so far this week.

It makes sense that they will release it as the 3rd single here since it was the 3rd everywhere else.

Thoughts?
Is she looking at a 3rd #1 from the album, and more importantly how do you think it will effect Christmas album sales?

She is a lock to sell over 5 million albums this year by the end of December, but how much higher do you think it can go?

I cannot at ANYONE (Duca... lol) calling "Set Fire to the Rain" generic... That song is ANYTHING but...

It's been begging to be a U.S. single for a while now, and has potential to be huge. I really hope this is true!

Interesting note:

10 of the 17 adds so far for Rumor Has It on radio were all added before Sept. 15th, some as early as May!!!
Meaning none of the adds were due to an official add date, rather just stations that have taken it upon themselves to add it.

The other stations added it last week after the billboard announcement.
But clearly if so many stations are adding Set Fire instead of Rumor this week, it must be because the record company is sending it out.....

i hope it's true.
but 1 station announcing it as 3rd single doesn't mean it is.
