Does a flop album equal the end of a career?
Well does it or it all depends on what album and the time in their career it was released.?

depends on the time in their career. Like if Madonna gets another flop album it wouldn't hurt her as opposed to she who will not be named.

If an artist can recover from a flop album I think a future flop album won't hurt

No. Most artists have what's deemed a 'flop' album.

Of course not. Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dance Floor serve as brilliant, shining beacons of hope for any artist who flops. Any artist can make a huge comeback provided they release the right material.

Album sales don't matter that much. Its more about the singles and tours

Depends on the severity of the "Flop". Many people can't seem to differentiate between a mere 'underperformance' and a total 'FLOP'

Never. In many cases the artist doesn't get another hit album but in many cases they do.
