It had like 5 international singles, (3 were US only urban releases). You can't compare IASF re-release to GGGB. IASF re-release probably contributed to less than 1% of it's total sales. IASF really got like 1 re-release. Because there were different editions based on country it seemed like a lot.

Beyonce broke the record for most Grammy's won in a single night by a female with that album.

Rihanna may have had 3 Number ones (2 of which came from the re-release)

but Beyonce has over 7 Million single sales with just two songs (3 Million for Halo & 4.8 Million for Single Ladies), and her airplay was much greater than Rihanna's iirc.

So just because Bey's rerelease flopped it shouldn't count?

This is really hard... they both sold around the same worldwide but IASF sold more domestically, meanwhile GGGB had arguably more single success, both had singles with huge impact but I'd say even though i don't like her rihanna wins becomes she seemed so much higher than every other girl from late 2007-2008, beyonce had tough competition from taylor, gaga, bep, etc...

So if a re-release isn't successful, then it shouldn't be used for comparison basis?
