They used to be CRIA (Canadian counterpart to RIAA), and now they provide and archive the info every week.

I use Billboard. They factor in airplay. The chart is better imo.

The CH100 is comprised by Billboard and Nielsen SoundScan/BDS. It tracks both airplay and sales, unlike Music Canada, which only tracks sales.

I'm pretty sure the Canadian Hot 100 is what is usually cited.

I mean receipts that the Canadian Hot 100 chart is an official chart for the nation. Only Music Canada would have the power to give a chart the official seal of approval.
