I used to respect the hell out of her because her work ethic was amazing. I admired how hard she worked and dedicated herself to what she wanted. Now she's kinda laying low, so I don't think so.
Why should we respect someone we don't know? Cause she works hard & has vision? So do architects, artists, actors, scientists & the developers of Apple, for example.
I wouldn't say i respect her for what she does but i do respect her, from one human being to another
people, whether you're a fan of her music or not you have to admit this woman always gives a 110% in everything she does. She even stepped it up and dabbles in politics by fighting for equality and other causes she believes in, she has a platform and she uses it to help others, that alone is enough to earn respect. She actually puts the work in rather than just talking about it, she literally marches with the gay community to bring justice for everyone and encouraged everyone to kill prop 8.
Yeah, I mean she can go off on however many tangents she wants with bullying etc. But at the end of the day it's the music for me when it comes to Gaga.
