Daniel's Best of 2008 | Top 10 Albums
Top 10 Albums
This list is based on those albums that I've listened to this year. With a little help from LastFM+Excel, I get the follow results:
1. Oasis – Dig Out Your Soul (20.6%), 2. Coldplay – Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (17.2%), 3. The Ting Tings – We Started Nothing (11.2%), 4. Leona Lewis – Spirit (9.7%), 5. Weezer – Red Album (9.6%), 6. The Killers – Day & Age (9.2%), 7. Gavin Rossdale – Wanderlust (9.0%), 8. Kings of Leon – Only By The Night (5.2%), 9. Apocalyptica – Worlds Collide (5.0%) and 10. Radiohead – In Rainbows (3.4%)
I could to add some more, this list is indispensable because it has everything, IMO : Top Britpop artists, The Kings, their heirs or (most famous successors), the band that constantly reinvented themselves, the new queen of Pop/R&B, the fronted of the best post-grunge band, the best pupils of Joy Division school, the band who titled their last work with the same name given to their first and third album, who reached the success that was denied to Strokes and Interpol, a Finnish cello metal band and other contemporary musicians who make dance rock music.
Finally about my number one, That is the best thing they've ever done in years (even since "Be Here Now"). Suck that it's not getting the airplay it deserves. Viva La Oasis. and Coldplay, well You know, could be blue I dont mind w/o/u (the music) it just a waste a time.
And I forgot to mention I'd finally have all those on physical Cds (<$100). (Thanks e-bay)
