Singles Charts
Calvin Harris, Alesso and Hurts are set to topple Lily Allen on this weekend’s Official Singles Chart with new track Under Control.
Calvin Harris’s chart domination shows no sign of retreat. Not content with notching up a record breaking nine Top 10 hits from his latest album, Calvin is once again eyeing chart success but this time joins forces with Swedish DJ Alesso and Hurts on vocal duties.
Under Control currently leads the race to Number 1 ahead of McFly’s Love Is On The Radio (2). McFly recently announced the formation of a new super group with fellow pop rockers Busted - a McBusted version of Love Is On The Radio also now available for fans to download this week (note, both versions of the track are combined within one chart position).
One Direction’s Story of My Life falls seven places to Number 3 but is one of seven placings in the Top 40 for the boys at this midway stage, while Gary Barlow’s Let Me Go (4) and reigning chart topper Lily Allen’s Somewhere Only We Know (5) completes this week’s Top 5.

Albums
One Direction look set to knock Robbie William’s Swing Both Ways from the top of the Official Albums Chart this weekend with Midnight Memories.
After performing at the American Music Awards and Children In Need, the boys’ third album in as many years is set to become their second Number 1, and the fastest selling album of the year to boot, already having shifted an astonishing 145,000 in its first three days of sale.
According to the Official Chart Company’s latest sales data, Midnight Memories is currently outselling Gary Barlow’s Since I Saw You Last (Number 2) by almost three copies to one. Midnight Memories is also outselling ever other artist in the Top 5 combined.
If One Direction’s sales continue at this pace, come Sunday it will make Midnight Memories the fastest selling album of the year; the current title holder is Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories (165,000 copies first week).
Robbie Williams’ Swings Both Ways, which was the UK’s 1,000th Official Number 1 album last week, is down two places to Number 3, while Olly Murs’ Right Place Right Time has shot up a staggering 92 places to Number 4, following the album’s re-release to coincide with his new single Hand On My Heart.
Boyzone’s BZ20, celebrating twenty years since the band formed, is currently sitting at Number 5, completing today’s Official Albums Chart Update Top 5. Lady Gaga's 'ARTPOP' falls to #24, and Katy Perry's 'PRISM' is at #16
