Lady Gaga Out-Smokes The Chainsmokers On Latest Joanne Track 'A-YO'
Quote:
Lady Gaga's latest cut from Joanne puts a country spin on her well-established pop domain.
Following the rock and roll "Perfect Illusion" and the melancholy "Million Reasons," "A-YO" branches off into the same party philosophy that drove Gaga's breakthrough hit "Just Dance."
The lyrics venture into some pretty suggestive territory — Gaga brags about smoking a "whole pack like Marlboro" underneath a "mirror on the ceiling." Given that she's probably not advocating excessive nicotine consumption, it's anyone's guess what she could be hinting at.
Among the three songs we've heard so far, Joanne is shaping up to be a pretty eclectic release. The album arrives this Friday, October 21.
