I think "Bad Boys" has more mainstream appeal, but "Good Night Good Morning" should be a single for the US too.
I think the best songs for a US release too are "All Night Long" and "Dumb".
Maybe "Broken Heels" and "The Silence", but I don't know about them, they're kind of a long shot.
I'm sorry but I think "The Silence" should be her crossover single, I think it could pull a "Bleeding Love" on the radio.... Or "Dumb" =) But "Bad Boys" is too old, and "Broken Heels" would flop.
No... the world doesnt want ballads right now.... Pop Jams are in... She should use Bad Boys and try to pull a Crazy In Love....
You're probably right, although I hope she records a new song that could be used for the first single... Although her label might just do "Bad Boys" because Alexandra said they aren't filming any new video's. I just hope they don't do "Broken Heels" first
I like Broken Heels but I don't think it'll do well as a first single, she should either release Bad Boys or The Silence .. they both could be potential hits. But again if she chooses to go with a ballad, she'll be compared with Leona; so she should just release Bad Boys as the first single.
I think "Bad Boys" is 100% mainstream and would blow up the charts in the US, while "The Silence" could be another huge ballad like "Bleeding Love".
But I think "Bad Boys" should be the first single, and "The Silence" 2nd.
I think her uptempo tracks will do her justice. Her ability to do the choreography and sing at the same time will gain her some fans. I do think, though, that she should release something that will be released on the U.S. version as the 1st single, preferably an uptempo pop track. BB has already been out for months and GNGM would be a perfect 2nd single
They're trying to make her into Leona 2.0...Waiting a couple of months after releasing her 1st album single in the UK, now wanting to try to break in the U.S. market. Alexandra is a different market though so I think they should really take time and make it perfect otherwise she'll end up like Jay Sean as someone said earlier.
