I defintely don't think this is what people expected from Alex. It's more pop than urban (I guess Flo-Rida was needed tor "urban the song up"). But it does make her different from all the other black R&B chicks out there, which can only be a good thing. As a lead single, it's perfect since it's so darned catchy. Even people who don't like it now, will find themselves humming it after hearing it a few times.
Ridiculously catchy song= Hit. How else do think Natasha Bedingfield has a career in America. She just makes some extremely catchy pop tunes. I think Alexandra can do at least as well as Natasha in the US. Probably better, because Alexandra will also attract the attention of black audiences.

Flo Rida does not make this song urban, infact he makes it more pop than it already is.if you think Flo Rida will help get this song played on Urban radio, you're wrong.ALL of his singles have flopped on urban radio except for "Low",his debut.
But you're defenitely right,it will be huge.its very catchy and grows on you a lot.worlwide it should have similar success to Womanizer, but obviously not as much because shes not well known outside the UK.
I think they're going to release a different and more urban debut single in the US next year.
