Though this has been posted about, the website I follow
posted an article against these two acts and expressed an opinion that I whole-heartedly agree with - not only should the government not fight free music, they should help it. I feel the music industry is in need of some serious revamping; more and more upcoming bands are releasing free music and still making more money when they are not on a label. This is not to say that music shouldn't be available for purchase, either through an artist's website or some other medium, but that should not be the only option. Music needs to be free and able to be heard by everyone. Any thoughts?
