You know for all the slack these kids get, they represent what it means to be young, camp and living in New York City. It'd be interesting to see a documentary on their lives to see how much has changed since 'Paris Is Burning.' They could call it...'Paris Has Burnt'
Or 'Paris Is Rebuilding.' Of course, these kids all seem to be quite rich, and don't seem to come from seriously troubled backgrounds like the kids in 'Paris Is Burning' did. But it'd be interesting considering it's a very similar scene, just 25 years later, in a much more tolerant society where HIV/AIDS isn't as deadly.
