My Top Ten Most Played Tracks from
Friday the 13th to today, Friday the 20th 2010:
I paid a lot closer attention to the play counts and such so this is accurate
I also listened to a lot of full albums this week, so I'll note when it's the whole album.
10.
Let It Go - Dragonette
I can't decide if I LOVE this song or not still. There's something about it I dislike but it's so fun and catchy. Just too generic maybe. Regardless it's still on my pre-game playlist.
9.
Album: Light Me Up - The Pretty Reckless
It's short, I just listen on repeat. It's so good. I love badass girls. I literally don't skip any songs on this album
8.
Both Of Us - Bob & Taylor Swift
I'm not listening to it AS much as I thought I would. There's way too little Taylor in it, and I can not stand b.o.b.'s verses. and I ****ing hate typing his name properly, cba.
7.
Deceptacon - Le Tigre
I've loved this song since 8th grade and re-discovered it after researching the Riot Grrrl movement and finding out one of the main pioneers (johanna something) was in this band. This song *****.
6.
Waterline - Jedward
5.
Lies - Marina & the Diamonds
The best song of 2012. I was listening to accoustic version until the official one came out this morning and hasn't left repeat
4.
Laserlight - Jessie J
Ew. Please make me stop.
3.
Easy - Johanna Newsom
The first third of Have One On Me, really, but I'm not going to fill my whole top ten list with just Joanna Newsom. Actually that wouldn't be a bad idea. She's stellar. Maybe next week.
2.
Va Va Voom - Nicki Minaj
Ok my new favorite Nicki Minaj song on RR
1.
Titanium - Sia/David Guetta
Sia's voice is everything! I heard this song when it first came out and didn't like it. Then last weekend I heard it in a club and was like "WAIT WHAT" and then googled the lyrics later and now here I am constantly pre-gaming to it. Obsessed.
THE NEXT TEN: Dance Again (JLO), La Roux (album), M.I.A. Kala (album), Too Much (Kylie), Collide (Leona Lewis), Spinning Around (Kylie), Wild Ones (Sia), Never Close Our Eyes (Adam Lambert), When Love Takes Over (Kelly Rowland), Starring Role (Marina & the diamonds)
