Welcome to my countdown! There's not much to say, it's the first time I'm doing this and I'll just post here my favorite songs of 2013. I'm going to start with posting the first ten in pairs every day. So let's get it started:

20. ''I Kill Giants'' from Naked and Famous' In Rolling Waves

''I Kill Giants'' is of very few songs I liked on Rolling In Waves, which in my opinion was a huge step down from their amazing debut. The song itself is rather powerful and heartfelt with a dark tone that flows through the whole song without stoping it from being catchy.





19. ''Julia'' from SZA's Z

Choosing between ''Julia'' and ''Teen Spirit'' was very hard, but you really can't go wrong with 80's influenced pop and SZA's captivating voice.

I didn't know these but the Best Of lists are also a good way to discover music you overlooked through the year!

18. ''Dream State'' from Psychic Twin's Strangers

I mostly liked ''Dream State'' because it reminds me of Grimes, whose music I enjoy. I guess they just filled the void for the 2013. The song itself is still pretty great, dream state would be a perfect way to describe it.





17. ''Don't Wait'' from Mapei's Don't Wait

Mapei's last album was released four years ago, and under that time she went from being a rapper to a R&B singer which I prefer a lot more. She herself described the track as ''21st-century gospel or doo-wop''.
