For this topic I selected 15 artists from a variety of genres. There are several artists that I listened too very little, however they were big enough in the music scene and on this forum that I felt they must be included. To qualify for this I looked at whether or not an artists song or album stuck in my heard, or if they had any iconic moments that were remembered throughout the year. Artist who started eras in quarter four of 2012 were eligible for my list.
These are my top fifteen artists of this year.
Ciara released a solid R&B album that got me interested in the genre, had three bops: "Body Party", "I'm Out" and "Overdose" and made a comeback that is completely underrated this year. As well "Overdose" is one of my favourite songs of the year. Due to this era I have went back to look at Ciara's previous work and found that I really enjoy her music. Overall she had a solid year and deserves much more success than she already has.
