Highest Radio Audience Peaks. (Nielsen BDS)
For those that do not know, the figures listed here are radio audiences according to Nielsen Broadcasting Data Systems, the same figures used by Billboard for determining rankings on Radio Songs/Hot 100 Airplay and the Hot 100 itself. These numbers aren't to be confused with the airplay numbers we usually get in the US Airplay Discussion Thread which are from Mediabase. I mention this so we can avoid the "this list is wrong WBT had 250M+" or "Irreplaceable/No One both hit 200M+" posts. Credit to highwind44027 for being the original OP and retrieving most of these.

Those were Mediabase numbers. I think it only peaked in the 130's for BDS. Unfortunately I wasn't able to note the highest documented radio audience for it though.

The difference between BDS and Mediabase wasn't that big in 2010.. For sure it did at least 160M.

Why is it much harder for current songs to reach those peaks in the top ten? Was Nielsen inflated back in those days? Have they removed stations from some panels?

This is the last article that mentions JTWYA's audience at 139.5 million during its first week on top of the Radio Songs. I'm pretty sure it peaked somewhere in the high 140's, maybe low 150's considering it led the airplay chart for 7 weeks.
