My first instinct was to say DC but now that I think about it, it probably is The Spice Girls. The 1999 pop movement wouldn't have happened without them laying the groundwork
Spice Girls had the entire world in an uproar, they were groundbreaking, everyone wanted to see them, be them, touch them... They are iconic and even have their own film.. When they reunited during the Olympics it was worldwide news for weeks. The platform shoes were the IT thing to have during a time... I can't remember Destiny's Child ever being that big or achieving that and their possible reunion during the SuperBowl was nowhere near as big news as the Spice Girls reunion (worldwide)
Destiny's Child. Spice Girls were just a fad. DC's music is MUCH more memorable

DC is the one that produced an iconic solo superstar, so they're legacy is always gonna live on through Beyonce. Can't say the same for Spice Girls. They're dated and irrelevant
