In a way. I was so hyped for The Sims 3, but not at all for The Sims 4 - I have yet to buy it - even tho I'm a huge fan of the game. I'm questioning wether I should buy The Sims 4 or not, tbh.

I think it's because there were huge differences between Sims 1 & 2, and Sims 2 & 3. From what I've seen, The Sims 4 looked about the same as The Sims 3, just with a little more stuff, that's about it.

I used to care about the sims when I was 14, but now im 21 and have my own life to try to manage.

Why wouldn't you give the game a chance? Didn't we hate The Sims 3 in 2009 and now it's one of the best games ever according to simmers?

It's the first one I haven't bought. I heard so much from critics and players alike that I decided it wasn't worth it.

Not at all. Sims 3 was easily the biggest hit of the Sims franchise from start. Sims 4 is bombing and no one's showing interest in any of its expansion packs. Not to mention tons of video games overshadowed it.

Yes, sadly. I have been a huge fan of The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, both those games are amazing. TS4 however is pure trash, its horrible, mostly because they took away the two best things from the sims series; the open world and create a style. Theres nothing exciting about TS4 cause they removed so much stuff, the gameplay is so boring.

I will stick with the Sims 3, which remains the superior game.

I'm a Sims fan and just recently was gifted Sims 4. I had all the add-ons and everything for Sims 3. I enjoy playing SIms 4 BUT it doesn't seem as if this "improved" version of Sims. It was not needed. The game seems as if it could have simply been done as an upgrade to the current Sims 3. That way, we would still maintain all of the perks of Sims 3 with a little extra from what Sims 4 gives us. Now, they are two seperate games and Sims 4 doesn't have nearly the interest I have in my invested Sims 3 game.

For me yes. Like where are the good expansion packs? Supernatural, Seasons, Pets and Island Paradise.

Let's Get Together doesn't even have a supernatural type. Supernatural beings are my favorite part from each expansion pack.

Yes, it drove away avid simmers such as myself. I'm still gonna retry it in the future.

It was no SimCity but it just is nowhere near as good as Sims 2 or Sims 3 other than CAS.

Sims 5 will come back and reign.

It's been declining drastically since The Sims 2. TS4 is an absolute disgrace to the franchise and I say this as a long time fan.

Yes The game isn't THAT bad, but in comparison, it's a lackluster game tbh
