His last English collaboration album Duets II sold 179k in its first week in the US and debuted at #1. It ended up winning a Grammy at the next years Grammys and being certified Platinum by the RIAA.
Tony then released an album targeting the Latin American audience Viva Duets and ended up debuting at #5 on the Billboard chart.
This year marks his return to his core audience and he decided to record an album with a former pop superstar Lady Gaga.
Do you feel bad about the fact his core audience will not support him due to the fact he put a drag queen on his album and featured her on the cover? Do you think Cheek to Cheek will manage to even go Gold? Former superstar Lady Gaga hasn't managed to snatch any Grammy nominations with her latest underground mixtape ARTPOP so will she jinx poor Tony as well?
