They filmed a London date of Britney's Ooops Tour back in 2000 using "First Person" recording technology that let you change the angle of the video in a full 360° angle. Yet another shelved project!!!
They had something similar to this on Britney's Dance Beat video game, I think. I think it was just like tour rehearsals or something and you could just spin around the room while the action happened.

I'm glad this technology never took off. Tour DVD's are a lot more exciting when there's different viewpoints and cranes moving the camera everywhere. Watching it from one viewpoint would get boring even if you can adjust the angle.
