I feel like everyone goes into this major for job security, and then they end up hating their jobs which leads to healthcare abuse and poor servce. So many people I talk to are going for this and every time I hear it, I go.
I work at a hospital so I see firsthand how miserable and unsatisfied some of these nurses are.
As a nursing major, bye. I worked really hard to get in, it's not like anybody can just apply and get accepted. I was the only person in my graduating class going into nursing. And you can do more than just work in a hospital.

I'm not attacking nursing majors. I think that nursing is an awesome career. But I feel like a lot of people go into for the wrong reasons. You have to have a passion for people, not just money to be a nurse. Hence, why there's so many mean nurses that I've witnessed. I've seen a nice amount of nurses who love their jobs and are amazing as well.

It's not always ideal or realistic for everyone to do what they ~love~
It's a pretty admirable major I think. You seriously have to devote a lot of time and energy to your job, and you get to help people. I respect nurses a lot.
You also could say that people of all majors choose their majors for eventual job security.
How the **** is nursing basic? Which of your former nursing friends shaded your own flop arts qualification?
Bye. I'm not an arts major, the job itself isn't basic. In my area, everyone goes into it because they feel its the right thing to do, or to make a lot of money.
No, wtf? It's very competitive and hard to get in actually One of my friends is a nursing major and she had to keep a 3.8 or higher otherwise she could have been kicked out of the program
But then again she wants to be a nurse practitioner, so idk, maybe that's different!!!!
