This year is ending but as usual, I'm posting my Top 100.
Maybe I'm not here as I usually do around a year ago however I do not forget ATRL. For me it's important to share my countdown so you can discover new music, songs & videos that you don't know.
I guess I started to post my annual top 100 since 2007 so let's remember the #1s.
In 2007: Moldova's Eurovision Song Contest entry ended #1. Natalia Barbu's Fight won over Bleeding Love by Leona Lewis who was the runner up and Girls Aloud Call The Shots that ended 3rd. Shiny Toy Guns' You Are The One and Thnks Fr Th Mmrs by Fall Out Boy completed the top 5.
2008 saw Simple Plan's When I'm Gone got the top of the chart. Slovenian singer and ESC entry Rebeka Dremelj 'Vrag Naj Vzame' ended 2nd being the first non english or spanish song being that high. Danish band The Knives 'Like Knives', Swiss ESC entry Paolo Meneguzzi's Era Stupendo' and Russian singer with a spanish song Zhenya Otradnaya & Porque Amor completed the top 5.
In 2009: UK's Gary Go Wonderful hit #1 spot. Leona Lewis with Happy ended again in 2nd place. Finnish Idol Anna Abreu's ballad Silent Despair in 3rd place. Tone Damli Aaberge from Norway ended 4th with Butterflies and UK newly singer Paloma Faith finalized in 5th place with her second single New York. The first time that no Eurovision songs ended in the top 5.
2010: Again a canadian act grab the top spot. This time was Hedley with masterpeace Perfect got the 1st place. UK acts Scouting For Girls with 'This Ain't A Love Song', You Me At Six 'Underdog' and Diana Vickers 'Once' ended in 2nd, 3rd and 5th place. Slovakian singer Kristina (Pelakova if you want to know her surname) ended 4th with Horehronie. (This song was an early favorite to win ESC 2010 however it failed to pass the final… it was a shame, anyway).
Now 2011… surprises? Probably but hope you like it.
