I didn't listen to many of these albums in full so who am I too judge.

I haven't listened to a lot of these in full.

Fearless. Cute, decent album, but it's not AOTY material.

Yeah, it's Fearless. Admittedly, I was never a big fan of that Herbie album, though.

Fearless is a great album

The only album that didn't really deserve to win is Rivers: The Joni Mitchell Letters. That win shocked a lot of people because Amy or Kanye was supposed to take that. All of those other wins made sense, and as long as they make sense to me, I have no issues with the wins even if I don't like the album.

Raising Sand.. Amy was snubbed. Back To Black deserved it more.
Fearless had no good competition (as far as I remember), so it doesn't matter.

That's a good point. I think the nominees were rather poor that year.
