Rihanna took too long of a break. I doubt she would even score a #1 song had it not been for drake. Look at 45S and the rest of her pre-album singles. People have moved on and sales indicate that very clearly. It's such a shame cause ANTI > TTT and UA by miles, it's one of her best albums in my opinion.
This is like comparing a song's success pre-iTunes/digital era to post 2006/7.
With the new Billboard system, ANTI is already bigger. It's almost at a million copies SPS and it's gotten generally positive acclaim and press. Even in hindsight a few years from now, it won't be seen nearly as disastrous as the Artpop era.
One of those albums have a #1 hit and a plat certification while the other does not. One of those albums came out a little more than 3 months ago while the other nearly 3 years ago.
4 months in and ARTPOP had sold 1.5m+ WW, something ANTI has yet to achieve.
Oh really? Math is not your strong point. Actually she's coming up on 2 mil. . . .plus why do you Monsters keep coming for Rih? The Beyhive are the ones who keep having you in your feelings?
Anti can still outsell artpop... and regardless, Nov 2013 had like 2x stronger album sales than January 2016. PLUS the Free givewaway must be taken in consideration. Rih actually did better, seeing how stable ANTI is even saleswise..
