50. In The Ayer -- Flo Rida
By the time "In The Ayer" was sent to pop radio, Flo Rida's first single "Low" had torn up the charts and his second single "Elevator" flopped. After Elevator, people wrote him off as a 1 hit wonder. They were wrong. This infectious, yet sometimes annoying, takes the 50th place on my chart as one of the best 2008 singles.
49. A. N. G. E. L.-- Natasha Bedingfield
Natasha's 3rd single takes the 49th place on my chart. I like the hook and the melody. Too bad the song flopped on the hot 100.
48. Crush -- David Archuleta
I never expected for this kid to put out a catchy, believable, top 40 hit. Hats off to him. This tune was the perfect end of summer single, with the right lyrics and proper beat for David's target audience.
