Applause snatches the doubter's weaves! [Exposed]
"I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong"
I didn't have to wait very long... After "flopping" and reaching a terrible #2 on US iTunes, everyone immediately counted "Applause" out, labeling it and Gaga a "flop" and "over". Now here we are, nearly 2 months after tha release of the song that was almost IMMEDIATELY counted out by practically this whole damn site. Now is tha time for you girls to sit your asses down and watch as the tea is layed out before you and your dirty ass weaves are snatched. By the way, this thread ain't about any other songs, this thread is about all the girls who rushed and pushed their stubby fingers against their cockroah infested keyboards trying to claim "Applause" was over. Kthxbye
Will "Applause" have longevity?

No I think the initial reaction to the song has been lukewarm and it's one of those songs that if you don't like it first listen then you never will.
Nope I think it's time for a 2nd single

Even her in a G-string and a bra couldn't save the song.

No. The songs almost fell out of the top 10 on itunes on its debut week.
Then was given a little life by its video, but almost fell out of top 10 again by the end of the week.
The VMAs gave it its final push and now it's falling again. It has no future. It will have no longevity.
It will do badly on radio and in sales. Doing great on youtube views, but we all know those can be rigged and Gaga herself tweeted that cheat link.

It hasn't even been 2 weeks yet though. Let's be honest, hype alone would've gotten any new gaga song into itunes top 10. Gagas song failed to make any impact. it started falling but got a boost by the video. Started falling again and got another boost thanks to the vmas. It won't last long now because she doesn't have anything else planned. Let's just be honest and accept that applause is doing poorly from someone who was on a media blackout/break and hyped this song to the high heavens.

Only her loyal stans are using her and maybe some bandwagoners but honestly she is turning off the GP she has too much overall talent to be sabotaging herself

Top 10 for 7 Weeks on the Billboard Hot 100
50 Days in the iTunes Top 10
It has been in the iTunes Top 10 for 50 days now and for 6, soon to be 7, straight weeks in the Billboard Top 10 I know how hard you wanted for it to be a flop though, and I feel for ya, I really do.
Where will "Applause" peak on radio?

Yeah, this song is pretty much finished. It'll be out of the top ten on iTunes by Sunday anyways. I would say "next single, please" but I'm not sure that anything else could do better after this disaster.

As far as radio, she's becoming less credible. The media's also onto her demise (Entertainment Weekly's drag), and the public isn't buying her music anymore. Something needs to be done before 11.11. Promoting a clearly unwanted song to the high heavens isn't going to work.

Applause has already been withdrawn from the suggested list of songs to add for the pop panel. The other formats will probably reciprocate over the next week or so.

Gaga just isn't cool to like anymore, not even as a music fan. Like I understand she's never been super popular with the general public but they have always kept their eyes on her waiting for her next antic. But I think people are just tired of the whole schtick, honestly. Gaga has always been the one to hog the spotlight with all of the theatrics and frills but her VMA performance this year couldn't even muster up half of the impact Miley made just by acting a ratchet mess.
Stick a fork in ha, she's done.

It truly is dated, but I don't think that may be the main reason. I think it is because that incident where Gaga tweeted something about requesting the song and radio DJs said they won't be bullied by her fans and they were not going to play the song more.

I hope she accidentally eats some of the rat poison that Joe Germanotta is putting out for his rat infested restaurant and dies while foaming at the mouth like the dirty trashy RAT that she is while Miley takes a **** on her grave

Welp, bye girls it definitely was not a pleasure. At least you tried a bit tho. Bye now.
