On Fifth Leg of Tour, Justin Timberlake Tickets Still Most Expensive



Recently completing the international leg of The 20/20 Experience World Tour, Timberlake is set to start another North American leg on July 9.

The next date comes with a rare intimate performance at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on July 10. Timberlake’s NYC concert has been skyrocketing in price over the past week and tickets are up by 80%. This past Friday, the average price for this date was $365, but has jumped by nearly $300 to $652, a staggering 104% above the tour average.

Timberlake’s North American leg is now the most expensive summer tour, easily eclipsing Jay-Z and Beyonce’s ‘On The Run’ tour. For the joint On The Run Tour, the average price is $244, while Justin Timberlake tickets average 31% more than that with an average price of $320.

The most expensive Jay-Z and Beyonce tickets have an average price of $415.92 for their first Rose Bowl concert on August 2. Timberlake currently has eight upcoming shows in North America with a higher average price.

Well they are more expensive because it is less tickets being sold. OTR is selling out 70,000 seats while Justin is doing arenas.

It reminds of when Beyonce did her Vegas 5-day "I Am Yours" gig and some tickets were close to $1000 simply because it was only 3-5000 seats.
