In what is some truly glorious news for Kelly Clarkson fans, Kelly has confirmed on Twitter that she’s aiming to release her new single in September.
The single will serve as the lead from Clarksons fifth album which is due for release by the end of the year.
Kelly is currently on tour at the moment promoting her fourth album All I Ever Wanted, which to date has only sold around 1.4 million copied worldwide off the back of three singles.
It has been speculated that 'Long Shot' might be the album's fourth single after some radio stations started adding it to their playlists.

Kelly herself said on Twitter that the fourth single from "All I Ever Wanted" starts with an I and ends with a U.
