Since Capcom has discussed about remaking Resident Evil 2 i had some ideas on what they should do.

Jill needs to be in the game.
Resident Evil 2 remake needs to play like 6 different scenarios at the same time.
Jill Chapter
Claire Chapter
Carlos Chapter
Leon Chapter
Ada Chapter
Sherry segment since she was not playable for that long.

And have them meet up.

Does it retcon the original? yes but this makes the most logical sense.

2 and 3 takes place at the same time more or less and this erases the need for fans asking for a remake of 3. If done well i can see it being good.
