Like last year Billboard will be releasing each week
the top 10 song of the summer

I don't get it.

I think that this summer will be more competitive than it has been the past few years.

Somebody That I Used To Know WILL stay in the top ten. That's a given. But I feel that the song of the summer will go to Carly, Katy, or Maroon 5.

If Ellie can hurry herself up into the Top Ten, then she might have a shot with "Lights" too.

It looks like Wide Awake will be the song that rules the summer unless Carly can hold her off which is quite possible. With Carly doing amazing on radio and a considerable lead at #1 on iTunes, I wouldn't be surprised if she's still the Hot 100 #1 in August

It'll change over time. It reflects the movements on the chart from Memorial Day to Labor Day. We've barely gotten into the summer itself, so it won't look very different than what we've seen already.

It will look different from the top 10 in a couple of week like Clash&Burn said since it's the 1st week Billboard dont have much data

I think you'll see payphone, GYC, WO, WAY, and Boyfriend leave the list sooner or later

This is nonsense, it looks just like the top 10.
And most of these songs are stale because they weren't released as summer singes, they were more like spring singles.

Payphone hasn't truly peaked yet. WAY might stick around at #10 or so. I'd sooner replace it with StarShips.

I think Call Me Maybe is bound to win this tbh (assuming this is just going to be calculated the same way as the Hot 100, just covering the entire summer instead of one week?).
