Welcome to my first ever musical chairs game on ATRL! In honor of my namesake, I decided to base this game off of the four natural elements -- fire, water, earth, and air. I feel that many songs can be represented by these elements. As such, we are going to have an elemental battle, as songs that fit into each elemental category will go head to head in sets of 10, 12, or 15. The winner of each set will get a place in the "Elemental Olympics," where each element will have multiple representatives! This final battle will determine the winner of the first ever "Elements of Music."

***I may add the fifth element when the time comes. I am still debating!***

We will revolve through the different elements, and you will sign up with a song that fits each element somehow. Your choice can be based on lyrics, theme, instrumental, or some other meaning. In each set, we will do various music chair/survivor type competitions. Just remember that your song will be saved by the other members of ATRL, so choose something that you think can win your set!

Fire is a masculine element, its aspects being change, passion, creativity, motivation, will power, drive and sensuality. It is sexuality, both physical and spiritual. Fire is used in spells, rituals and candle magic for healing, purification, sex, breaking bad habits or destroying illness and disease. Fire is the element of authority and leadership.

Characteristics: Purifying, destructive, cleansing, energetic, sexual, forceful. Protection, courage, sex, energy, strength, authority, banishing negativity. Heat is a manifestation of this element.
