The thing about jay is, he releases a track with a video and then does no touring.

He needs to have a list of venues to go to prior to a release. In order to gain some momentum across the US.

As he visits each state, he can then start to go through radio interviews slowly gaining hype and radio support.

Most people still think he has stopped making music after down and do you remember.

I think you don't quite get the way the music business works. Going on tour is not free, it costs money and if Jay notices that he might not sell out or have enough buyers at his venue his tour will not bring him any profit but rather cost him money. He will end up losing instead of gaining. dont think his label or him are willing to take that chance

Exactly. And we all know that Jay will definitely have a loss trying to tour because no one is interested in him except South Asians and most are too cheap to buy tickets to see someone perform. That's why Jay always performs at cheap clubs and venues.
