ATRL will close
January 7th for an extended period to bring the new forum online. We’re estimating at least 2-3 days, but we’ll be communicating via our social media platforms to keep you updated as soon as everything is up and running.
At this time we’re not able to guarantee a complete data transfer, but we’ve had overwhelming support from our community to transfer with user accounts. During the month of December we’re going to be making various attempts at getting as much info transferred as possible. If there are new developments we’ll update you, but at the very least, you’ll be able to log in using your existing credentials. For those worried about thread ownership, the mods have a plan that they'll be rolling out soon.

For the first time ever, we’re leaving vBulletin for Invision Power Board. This new platform brings hundreds of features and enhancements to make your experience faster and more interactive.
— IPB brings a robust notification system that can alert you even if you’re tabbed away or have the window minimized.
— Profiles now include cover photos and hovercards.
— Themes now work on desktop and mobile (and so do the forum features)
— Blogs are back, along with a new private messaging system
— New follow system lets you keep better track of content and friends

The New Design
Some of you familiar with the beta may have noticed a significant change/rollback to the new layout - specifically the header. We decided that what’s most important is that we make this transition as smooth as we can for our community, especially those who struggle with change. That said, once we’re on the new server and everyone has had time to adjust, we will continue to make advancements in both design and functionality overtime.
With the new themes, we went back to the drawing board to find a happy medium between our initial concepts, beta changes and the old ATRL layout. Immediately noticeable is the revision of the header, but we’re changing a lot more than that. Fonts, white space reductions, color and additional tweaks are being made to ensure that our members have the best experience possible. We look forward to sharing all that we have in store.
