Lost in the hype over Kanye West jumping on stage last night at the VMAs is the fact that Lil' Mama did the same thing during Jay-Z's closing performance. She jumped on stage and started dancing with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys like she was part of the performance. She issued this apology.
"I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys. I admire them and look up to them as role models. 'Empire State of Mind' had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up on stage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY."
She was really crazy in interrupting the whole perfo but the part that got me lolling was the cold shoulder Jay gave to Lil Mama...like she was a ghosts..
