What kinda Sleeping Beauty sleeper hit

Wow this is so huge I remember Paul Grent posting about it topping 1m mark some time ago and now it's 2m without even cracking the top 50 didn't care about it but now I'm gonna give it a listen.

I was so shocked when it crossed 1 million since it only peaked at 82 on the Hot 100. And songs that only get alt play don't usually sell that well. But for it to be at 2 million now

It must be the (or one of the lowest) lowest peaking single on the hot 100 to go double platinum

I see so much future on this song, it hasn't even started yet!

I've never understood why/how this song sold so well either. It's so mysterious It doesn't really have any viral thing attached to it. And I think it was used in some commercial briefly, but that was after it peaked on alt radio but way before the current surge.

And yeah, it really needs to become this year's Somebody That I Used To Know Any song which can do something like this deserves to be #1 on The Hot 100. Can you imagine if it sells another 7-8 million? First Digital Diamond single?!

The sudden rise is kinda weird, but I feel like this song is always being used in a commercial for SOMETHING. Sitcoms, dramas, sports, McNuggets, you name it.

Huge and so deserved!
