Her being dead is horrible and I wish she were still around because she was an amazing person and she gave us amazing music, but one (and maybe the only) positive thing that came from her death is that her legacy remains fantastic and without ruin.

lol funny you make this thread because I was JUST thinking about where she would be today in the industry, and tbqh I think she would be on a Beyonce/Rihanna type level. She was just starting to become more mainstream, I think eventually she would have done a lot of commercial pop, I was a fan of Aaliyah long before her unfortunate death, she didn't have one of the greatest voices, but neither does Rihanna and look at her.

As a matter a fact, I think if she was still alive, people wouldn't be using Rihanna or Beyonce.
