I meant to see this at a film festival earlier this year but I couldn't fit it in my schedule. I hope it can still get a theatrical release I my country!
I saw this last night, and I am obsessed. The movie is quite long, and I can see ALOT of people not getting it if they're not familiar with 60s/70s pulp movies. The acting style is purposely campy. There's also many larger themes that some people might not pick up on, but in simplified terms, there's a feminist angle that explores how men and women act when they're in love (in this film, the roles are reversed, kinda. Elaine is looking for true love, but hates how emotional men get when they fall in love with her).
If this isn't something that appeals to you, you'll definitely get your life from the aesthetic/sets/costumes and queen Samantha Robinson. And the sex scenes!
