TOP 50 SINGLES OF 2008 (#50-#41)

#50. Madonna, "Give It 2 Me" Great Dance track from Hard Candy & one of my favs from the album. Pharrell worked well with Madonna on this album.

#49. Ne-Yo, "Miss Independent" Such a smooth song. His vocals sound great & and the Style of the video was also good.

#48. Gavin Rossdale, "Love Remains The Same" Such a Beautiful song. His voice was so hypnotic on this song. I couldnt help but Love this song.

#47. Girlicious, "Like Me" I was excited when this band 1st formd, and I really enjoyed this Single. Hot Dance Moves, Hot Girls, Hot Video.

#46. New Kids on The Block F/Ne-Yo, "Single" If wasn't all to excited about this group coming back. Hated their 1st single, But the moment I heard this song, I fell in Love with the track. So smooth sounding. Joey sounds GREAT on this track, and Ne-Yo was wonderful as well.

#45. The Pussycat Dolls, "When I Grow Up" Another Hot girl group with a hot song. I didnt care for the song at first, but it grew on me more & more. Loved the dancing in the video.

#44. Snoop Dogg, "Sensual Seduction" I've never been a big fan of Snoop's music, but when I heard this...I was hooked. And video made me Love the song EVEN more than I already did. Such a great video the way it was shot. And Snoop sounds sexy on the song.

#43. Finger Eleven, "Paralyzer" I was hooked at 1st listen. And even though they are a rock band, its sounds so much like a "dance" track. The video was great as well with all the people dancing in the streets.

#42. Rihanna, "Disturbia" I know many people have this single HIGHER on their c/d, and I do like the song, but their was something missing for me. She sounds great, and I love her "Goth" sound on the track. The video definilty fit the song.

#41. The Ting Tings, "Shut Up & Let Me Go" I love ther lead singers voice on this song. She draws me to the song. The Video was amazing. Very different. It was kind of a kooky song & video, but I Still loved them.


TOP ALBUMS OF 2008 (#15)

15. Janet Jackson-DISCIPLINE


A step up from 20 Y.O., its was full of some great hits. Feedback was a great dance track, as was Rock Wit Me. So Mucha Betta was so addictive. Discipline was hot. Although I didnt like all the albums (or ANY of the interludes) over it was a great album.

TOP 20 MOVIES OF 2008 (#20 & #19)

#20-Hancock

One of the many superhero movies released this year, it was a good movie. While there were better, Will Smith held his own in the movie. Charlize Theron was also very good in the movie & she has GREAT chemistry with Will Smith

#19-27 Dresses

I'm not one for "chick flicks", but I actually enjoyed this one. I've enjoyed Katherine Heigl since Knocked Up and she did an excellent job in this movie. I LOVE James Marsden and he was perfect as Kevin. They had a great cast in this movie, and overall it was a great Romantic Comedy

TOP 50 SINGLES OF 2008 (#40-#31)

#40. Little Jackie, "The World Should Revolve Around Me"
I first heard this song on New Yorks reality show and fell in love with it. It's so sassy and catchy. Great lead single.

#39. M. Pokora F/Timbaland & Sebastian, "Dangerous"
When I first her this song, I was hooked. Although it reminded me of Justin Timberlake for a while, it was ok since JT has been missing these days from singing. Great beat & perfect song to break him internationally.

#38. Donnie Klang F/Diddy, "Take You There"
I didnt really like the single at first, but over time I grew to like it more & more. While the rest of his album sucked, this was the standout track for me. Even Diddy sounded ok on it.Really smooth & Laid back.

#37. Lifehouse, "Broken"
Beautiful lyrics to a great song. The video was amazing and I love the lead singers voice on this track. One of their best songs.

#36. Day26, "Since You've Been Gone"
This was a nice song to show of the bands vocals. It had a hot beat & sounded amazing. Even when they performed it live it was good. The came together really well on this track. One of my favs from their album.

#35. Maroon 5, "Goodnight Goodnight"
I Love Adam's voice on this track. Such a touching song & the video made it even more interesting. He does slow songs so well.

#34. Usher, "Love In This Club"
Great urban track for Usher. Wasn't feeling it at 1st, but over time, it got better. He did some great performances of this song. Really smooth, and addicting. And he sounded great on the song.

#33. Kanye West, "Love Lockdown"
Different vibe from Kanye, but interesting. While his voice is so-so on this track, the beat & lyrics are GREAT. The video was also very good.

#32. Natasha Bedingfield, "Pocketful Of Sunshine"
Such a good song. I first heard it when she performed it on the Cheasea Handler show & was hooked. She sounds SOOOO good singing it live. The video was very fun & light.

#31. Britney Spears, "Break The Ice"
Britney 1st of many appearances on my countdown, she delievered a great track off of Blackout. Such a great intro, and addicting beats. I wish the video was better, but overall a great track.


TOP 15 ALBUMS OF 2008 (#14)
14. Weezer-THE RED ALBUM


While not my favorite album of theirs, it was still a good album. I LOVED their lead single "Pork & Beans" from 1st listen & the msuci video made me love it even more. "Troublemaker" is another good song. my Favorite track though is Heart Songs. Such a great simple song.


TOP MOVIES OF 2008 (#18-17)
#18. Hell Boy II: The Golden Army

Anoth great super hero movie, but with a comdedic twist. I did like it better than the 1st movie, even if the 1st movie was more serious. The visual Effects were great in this movie.

#17. The House Bunny

I love Anna Faris, so it's not to surprising that I would like this movie. Yea, its a little bit cheesy, but Anna can pull ANYTHING off & I would love it. Colin Hanks was also good in the movie. I love that they added Hugh Hefner in the movie too. Just a feel good movie for any one that enjoys Anna Faris to enjoy.

ToP mOvIeS of 2008 (#16-#11)

#16. Step Brothers

Will Ferrel's movies seem to be hit or miss with me. But this one was a hit. Will & Jim C. Reilly are a great duo. This movie wasVery funny, and all together had a great cast.

#15. Cloverfield

I really like the way they shot this movie. I know a lot of people complained about it, but it gave you a different perspective. You only saw was the main characters saw. You only knew what they knew. It put you in their shoes. Really well done.

#14. Get Smart

Great family comedy. Anne Hathaway has become one of my new fav. actresses, and Steve Carrell is also great. Funny, SMART, action. Great movie.

#13. Bolt

I took my sister to see this movie, not thinking I was gonna like it. It was a sweet movie. I'm a big dog fan, so it was a good movie for me. It was funnier than I thought it would be.

#12. I Am Legend

I Heard so many bad reviews for this movie, but when I finally saw it, I LOVED IT. Will Smith did a very good job with the movie. It was relaly "creepy", and diseased people were created well. I loved the flashbacks. Just had a great storyline.

#11. Iron Man

Graphics wise, this was a stunning movie. Robert Downey Jr. did great as Iron Man/Tony Stark. Although I never followed Iron Man, I still enjoyed it. Action scence were AMAZING.
