Katy Perry thrilled fans this weekend as she performed hit single Roar at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards and according to insiders she'll have something else to "roar" about soon - an engagement to boyfriend John Mayer.
The couple, who have been pretty loved up of late after getting back together for the third time in May, are said to be keen to make things permanent.
"John wants to do something special probably around the holidays," a source told Life & Style magazine.
"He's been asking Katy's friends a ton of question," said the source. "There are a lot of options on the table. Nothing is ruled out. It could happen on a romantic getaway or during a family dinner."
Katy and John haven't exactly hidden their affection each other recently singing about their love in duet Who You Love and gushing about each others talents.
