TOYSOLDIER99's TOP 100 SINGLES OF 2013
#100
Robin Thicke- Blurred Lines- featuring T.I and Pharrel
Summary: This is probably one of the biggest hits of the past decade. It is admittedly not a favorite of mine but it would be impossible to most list this song. The song is catchy and the video is raunchy, a decent song which was a lucky hit for a then irrelevant Robin which has now shot him back into stardom.
My rating: 5/10

Paramore:- Still into you
Summary: Very cute song with great vocals by Haley Williams and a very catchy chorus. The verses arent as strong as the great chorus but it is still a very good pop-rock song. I do see Paramore becoming even more successful in the future if they deliver songs like this.
My rating: 6.5/10

Mackelmore and Ryan Lewis:- Thrift Shop
Summary: I'll admit at first i did somewhat enjoy this song, however once it began blocking scream and shout i began to loathe it
. But seriously this song has become so overplayed that it just seems like a parody of itself, not to mention that Mackelmore has become one of the most ovverated artists of 2013. Regardless its still a nice song to bop to at times but its just not all that special to other rap songs and the video is really tacky.
My rating: 6.5/10

Lorde- Tennis Court
Summary: This song seems to be overshadowed by royals a lot and deservedly so, it is a little monotonous and less relatable compared to the far superior royals. It is however very clever and has a nice sort of ring to it, i do think this could become a hit eventually but perhaps a remix or something would make it better.
My rating: 6.5/10
#96
Demi Lovato- Made in the USA
Summary: Demi displays some great vocals on this song but sadly thats probably the only good thing about this song, the chorus is not catchy and the lyrics are very muddled up and dont make sense. However, if you are into light, basic pop then this is a very enjoyable song, the only reason this is higher than the previous songs is because of Demetria and her godly vocals.
My rating: 5/10
#95
Justin Timberlake- Suit and Tie
Summary: I know, I know, this might seem like a shocking position for JT's comeback single but in all honesty it is very underwhelming, the chorus is decent but nothing special, the lyrics are decent but nothing special, Jay Z's verse is decent but nothing special, I think you get the point, this song is nothing special but still just a nice bop. At least since it was overplayed its still a nice listen.
Thats all for now, i might reveal another 5 later if i can fix my images since they arent working properly. Thank you everyone and please leave a comment on your opinion so far. Time to start browsing the other best ofs
