Adele would have the higher debut and higher sales, unless (if by some random act of jesus christ himself) she flopped hard. But seeing as that is almost impossible based off of hype alone, she will debut higher than Gaga.

People said the same thing about Skyfall though.

Anyhow, depends on the quality of their first singles. Since Gaga is coming hard, I'm voting for her.

Adele could release a nursery rhyme and the hype that comes with her name will send it to the top of half the itunes store possible. The public bandwagon effect for Adele is global. 1 million + is pretty much a given (Don't bookmark me though..... )

Hmm Skyfall has won many awards that no other James Bond theme song has done and its going to go 2x Platinum with no radio support.
