I kinda think the impact of Britney Spears is being underestimated. I think if this song was with Britney, it'd become one of Gaga's signature songs along with Poker Face and Bad Romance.

I think it would have went to #1 if Britney was on it. Most likely would have been a #1 debut at that. Britney and Gaga are two massive pop culture icons, Beyonce just simply doesn't have the same effect on the general public as those two. Didn't HIAM debut at #1 and slay on itunes? as did Gaga's 'Born this way', 'Run the world' didn't even see half that success.
