The thing is...if you're actually a GOOD singer, no one has to ever really do that. It should kinda be obvious. Welp.

I don't understand why Katy fans are so set on trying to prove her as a great vocalist..
Let me try to say this in a nice way
She's NOT a good vocalist just move on and get over it
Mariah's a horrible dancer 99.99999% of the time
Madonna was never a great vocalist
Britney was never a great vocalist
etc...
Just build a bridge and get over it
