I know what you're probably thinking,"GIRL WHAAAT? WHY SO LOW?!!! ". honey shut up and let me explain myself ! "Good For You" has shocked the world and has marked Selena as a prominent bonafide pop star, no? Every since "The Heart Wants What It Wants" was released, I've noticed significant maturity in Selena's music. She had stepped up her game from the, "when you're ready come and get it" singer, to a melancholic, pop singer that shows promise in each subsequent release. She's building her path into the music industry and making it her own, without any gimmicks whatsoever. Just the music. However, "Good For You" is just the beginning of Selena's road to maturity. If she keeps the momentum going and releases something on par or higher than "Revival", you can officially say that Selena Gomez is a mastermind.
We can't have a countdown without a Taylor single, and what's the best single from her monstrous album "1989"? Look no further, because "Wildest Dreams" fits the bill. Taylor has shown that with "Wildest Dreams", she's one of the most versatile pop stars out there in the world. Ranging from country singles from her debut album to pure pop perfection with "Blank Space", "Wildest Dreams" shows another side of pop Miss Taylor Swift can pull off effortlessly. Topped with an amazing visual music video set back in the Old Hollywood era, there isn't much to hate about "Wildest Dreams".
No one can deny that Drake has become the world's biggest rap star of the decade along with Eminem. He may not be the best in terms of his rap skills, but it's his lyricism that has made him so successful and appealing to almost everyone. "Right Hand" is another great Drake song that has everyone bopping to. To get straight to the point: Drake is a rap king. "Right Hand" is "Hotline Bling"'s younger brother.
While it maybe be a tad lower in awesomeness and quality than her masterpiece "Ceremonials", it still is a masterpiece. Florence has shown 2015 how a pop album should be made, and she did it with ease.
