Really dissapointed. Adam sounded terrible. It got really awkward once Christina got on stage and tried to outsing him. Neither looked happy.

Why do you think she's not?

For a variety of reasons. Her technique is among the worst I've heard. She has virtually no breath support and probably doesn't even know what vibrato is. Her belts are scratchy and strained. She has a very good range, but can't maximize on its potential. She mimics power by screaming from the back of her throat. Somebody really needs to teach her what a diaphragm is. I wouldn't call what she does singing, but rather musical wailing.

I don't really care what my "favorite" says. Gaga's belts are stronger, more resonant and much, much more powerful. And obviously more controlled considering Xtina's obvious lack of it. She actually sings when she belts. She doesn't end up screaming.

And you're never going to get belts from Christina again. Not that she ever really belted to begin with. If she did then she would still retain the ability to do so.
You should try screaming every day for the next 10 years. It's not too good for your vocal chords.

She for sure has mastered the technique of shouting, though. She genuinely sounds good when she does it. Too bad it's not real singing.

And you obviously don't have a musical background if you think Born This Way ripped off Express Yourself. They're both generic bubblebum pop music chord progressions. Madonna wasn't the first to use them. Lady Gaga simply inverted the chord progressions and wellah! 80s pop at it's finest.
